Volunteer Event: Women's Fall Trail Day
Fort Funston

Join an incredible group of women as we work together to create positive impact to the trail systems of our National Parks. This will be an all-women’s trail event open to all self-identifying women, gender expansive, and non-binary folks ages 12 & up, led by the lady trail builders of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and supported by REI.

The NPS Trail Crew will be fixing and installing post and cable fencing at Fort Funston to prevent social trail, protect native habitat, and to keep visitors safely on the trail.

Location: Fort Funston

Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet at John Muir Drive. Map Link >>. Participants are encouraged to park here

*Note* The project will require about 1/4 mile of a walk, in sand.
