Erosion can contaminate the park's water resources, increase the maintenance needed on park facilities, and reduce the quality of the park's natural areas. Tamara Williams (NPS, Physical Scientist) and Caroline Christman (Conservancy, Project Manager) will discuss how to consider erosion control concerns as you design a project, during project implementation, and after a project has been implemented. The class will address the importance of natural erosion but focus on addressing human-induced erosion.
