Fort Funston

The Park Stewardship program is back with a whole range of habitat restoration programs for you this spring and summer!

Sign up for a volunteer day at Fort Funston and help restore important habitat for wildlife. This is your chance to get outside and enjoy the day while exploring, and learning about some of the most beautiful places in your city.

What's in store for you?

A group of fun and trained staff will provide you hands-on learning experience and some fascinating talks about the area. And of course, there's going to be lots of fun, and rewarding work lined up for you and your friends!

We will provide all the tools and gear, and some delicious snacks too. All you need to bring is your spirit and enthusiasm!

Volunteering with the parks is not only a way to build a relationship with your local communities and become familiar with your parklands, but also a great way to earn some extra credits! Please check with your respective teachers or supervisors for more information.
