Volunteer Event: National Trails Day 2017, Hawk Hill
Hawk Hill

Join us for National Trails Day on June 3rd! Celebrated on the first Saturday in June every year, the 2017 edition will spotlight one of the most incredible vistas in the park – Hawk Hill.

The National Park Service is realigning the trail at this historic Marin Headlands site to elevate safety and accessibility for visitors, improve drainage to prevent erosion, and create a larger protective barrier for endangered Mission Blue butterfly habitat. With directions from trail crew staff and interns, volunteers will build post and cable fence along this new section of trail. Lunch will be provided as well as free t-shirts and swag, courtesy of REI.

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
