South Asian Community Volunteer Day (Diwali special)
Lands End Visitor Center (to start)

Celebrate South Asian cultures, traditions and festivals in the company of nature at these special, family-friendly volunteer programs organized and hosted by park staff from within the community. Build a new connection with your local national park, enjoy a morning of habitat restoration, and fun festivities, and treat yourselves to some delicious traditional and authentic snacks from our local Indian Eatery, Kasa!

This will be a series of programs and a unique opportunity to learn about our diverse communities within the Bay Area, get hands-on learning experience from trained staff, and to hear some fascinating natural and cultural history of the park. You don’t need any prior experience to help with habitat restoration. Just bring your enthusiasm, and we'll provide the rest.

For our program on November 3rd we will be celebrating Diwali, also known as the festival of lights, hope, joy, and happiness. Please join us to celebrate nature, community, and more!
