Join a new group of stewards helping to restore the historic garden walks of Black Point, overlooking Aquatic Park! This is the beginning of an exciting volunteer project modeled on the award-winning Alcatraz Gardens restoration. In the past year tree removal, goat grazing, and trash cleanup exposed the scenic walkway. Now we need your help to control invasive plants, keep pathways clear, and improve safety. We’ll also walk around the site and talk about Black Point’s early settlers, activists in the national anti-slavery movement. 

Volunteers of ages 14 and up are welcome. Adult chaperones are required for youth under the age of 15.
