THE FESTIVAL COMES TO YOU

Can’t be there for the big day on May 27? Fear not, fellow Bridge fans. There are many ways for you to take part in the celebration.

  • KFOG radio (104.5 FM in San Francisco, 97.7 FM in San Jose) will broadcast the soundtrack to the fireworks show on your radio and online at kfog.com, starting at 9:30 pm (PST) on May 27. This is a music mix that will leave your heart in San Francisco.
  • Put the Bridge in your back pocket with our free GoGGBridge smartphone app. Available for Apple and Android devices, the app features stories from original Bridge workers, tips for exploring the parklands at the Bridge, fun facts, and a Bridge quiz. It even lets you blow your own foghorn!
  • On May 23, a new interactive map website, Band of Bridges, will allow visitors to connect bridges from around the world to the famous Golden Gate. Conceived by San Francisco advertising agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, the site will use Google Maps to invite everyone to join in by making what we hope will be the longest "bridge" in history.
  • Get ready for a social media frenzy on May 27. Don’t forget to "like" us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and add photos to our Flickr group to send your birthday wishes to the Bridge.
